Suite ‎(CD, Mini, CD3).

The suite evokes the village that is Charvot 's home. This small hamlet also inspired Jean-Gilles ' father to create abstract paintings. The music here was created for an exhibition of his father's works; thus, the results swing from the pastoral and reflective to the challenging and impressionistic. Twenty minutes of nearly avant jazz for sax, double bass, and drums.

Serge Bringolf biography Serge Bringolf is a drummer and composer hailing from France. He has worked with numerous musicians, the most well known of which is work that he did with Jaco Pastorius in the 1980s. Bringolf's music is often characterized as jazz-rock, but it is more appropriately placed squarely within the Zeuhl genre. After the release of his first album (a double) in 1980 called "Strave" the band just sort of faded away with all but one musician ( and Serge) moving on to other things. Enter ART ZOYD guitarist Alain Eckert who played on those early classic ZOYD albums ( and live with NATIONAL HEALTH in 1979 as heard on their "Playtime" recording) who asked Serge if he'd consider joining his project called the ALAIN ECKERT QUARTET.

Gilles Verdez (born 8 August 1964 in e) is a French journalist, television and radio columnist. He is the co-author of numerous books on football in France. He graduated from the training center for journalists in Paris. Gilles was wounded in the 5 May 1992 Armand Cesari Stadium disaster, where he was standing on one of the crumbling stands.

Entrevennes Suite was composed by the saxophonist Jean-Gilles Charvot, for a painting exhibition by his father Jean-Louis Charvot. Music and painting interacted there as two independent evocations of a little village in the south of France where the family have a house. Being a very important place for both father and son. Entrevennes inspired the two artists not only as a landscape, but also as part of a true live story. Entrevennes Suite, the music, was recorded by the trio in one take, after a few hours' rehearsal
