Written by Del Shannon, this song became a hit for the British duo, Peter and Gordon. very beautiful yet sad song by a very talented singer . P Del Shannon only 55 when he passed away (Dec30th 1934-Feb 8th 1990) I am only 22 and I love this man's music. I had no idea Del Shannon wrote this great song. I was only familiar with the Peter & Gordon release, which I love. I didn't know who wrote it, and after a while I just had to find out. What a great tune. If Del had released a good-sounding record of this song under his own name in the 60s before P&G, he might still be with us today.

Notes"Whenever I'm on tour, fans ask me about the lesser knownn songs that I recorded during the early 60's. It seems that the hits are easy enough to find but many people have favorites that have been unavailable for years. Hopefully, this album contains a track or two that will dust off a few memories for everyone. It certainly did for me. Keep on Rockin', Del Shannon. February, 1986"
