Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (27 January 1756 – 5 December 1791), baptised as Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart, was a prolific and influential composer of the classical era. Born in Salzburg, Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty.

Mozart: Requiem In D Minor, . 26 - Completed By Joseph Eybler & Franz Xaver Süssmayr - Requiem (Live) by Sibylla Rubens & Friedemann Winklhofer & Münchner Philharmoniker & Christian Thielemann & Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks. 2. Mozart: Requiem in D minor, . 26 - Completed by Joseph Eybler & Franz Xaver Süssmayr - Kyrie. This is primarily because of the quality of the orchestral playing (especially the brass), which is truly outstanding.

Unfinished at the time of his death on 5 December 1791, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem in D minor is now one of the most known and praised classical works of all time. There are a large number of myths surrounding the Requiem, like Mozart received the commission from a mysterious messenger or Antonio Salieri was that messenger and helped him complete the work or even Mozart believed that he was writing the requiem for his own funeral.
