But then again, if I have to compare them to another contemporary thrash metal act it would be Panic (who released a couple of albums in the early nineties and then disbanded), and they were actually from Seattle too. The energy level is high, the riffs are sharp and rhythmically challenging (there´s even the occasional funky part thrown in), and lead vocalist Matt Fox delivers his raw vocals with an attitude but also with a humourous gleam in the eye. The band also incorporate clean guitar parts with clean singing on top, but honestly Matt Fox fail a bit when attempting to sing using a clean.

The Bitter End" is a song by British alternative rock band Placebo. It was released as the lead single from their fourth studio album, Sleeping with Ghosts (2003), on 10 March 2003. The song is based on the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. There are several references to it throughout the song, one of the most noticeable being the reference to 2 May - the date on which the two main characters, Winston and Julia, first spend the night together.

The Bitter End is a 230-person capacity nightclub, coffeehouse and folk music venue in New York City's Greenwich Village. It opened in 1961 at 147 Bleecker Street under the auspices of owner Fred Weintraub. The club changed its name to The Other End in June 1975. However, after a few years the owners changed the club's name back to the more recognizable The Bitter End. It remains open under new ownership.

The Bitter End Lyrics. Since we're feeling so anaesthetised In our comfort zone Reminds me of the second time That I followed you home. We're running out of alibis From the second of May Reminds me of the summer time On this winter's day. See you at the bitter end See you at the bitter end. Every step we take that's synchronized Every broken bone Reminds me of the second time That I followed you home. Love's reached his side Grab this gentleness inside Heard a cry Six feet down In six weeks' time The mess you left Will end See you at the bitter end. More on Genius. About The Bitter End. The first single from the record, featuring a futuristic video where the band are transposed onto the huge Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank, and utilise night vision to track a jealous lover.
