The Colour of Spring is the third studio album by English band Talk Talk, released in February, 1986.

And I was running far away Would I run off the world someday? Nobody knows, nobody knows And I was dancing in the rain I felt alive and I can't complain. But now take me home Take me home where I belong I can't take it anymore. I was painting a picture The picture was a painting of you And for a moment I thought you were here But then again, it wasn't true, down And all this time I have been lying Oh, lying in secret to myself I've been putting sorrow on the farest place on my shelf La-di-da

Having purchased Spirit of Eden, I concluded that I had moved too far down the noise road to appreciate the true art this band was giving us. As a gift, I was introduced to Laughingstock last year. I again gave Spirit of Eden new spins, to no avail. Then, a friend recommended Color of Spring. I listen religiously now to this transitive album. Transitive in that it bridges the electropop of their prior recordings to the very experimental, and to some, too arcane final records

Though the songs were catchier on the earlier efforts and the ambient experimentation was more fully achieved later on, The Colour of Spring succeeded in marrying the two ideas into one unique sound for their most thoroughly satisfying album.

Far Far Away" is a song by the British rock band Slade, released in 1974 as the lead single from the band's first soundtrack album and fifth studio album Slade in Flame, in promotion of the upcoming film of the same name. The song was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and produced by Chas Chandler. It reached No. 2 in the UK, remaining in the charts for six weeks. The song was certified UK Silver by BPI in November 1974.

Más letras del álbum.

When spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest. The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.
