The Little Boy Blues were an American garage rock band from Chicago, Illinois active in the mid to late 1960s, who are considered early pioneers in protopunk. They are best known for songs such as "The Great Train Robbery" and their version of Van Morrison's "I Can Only Give You Everything," both of which are considered garage classics.

It has a Roud Folk Song Index number of 11318. A common version of the rhyme is: Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn, The sheep's in the meadow, the cow's in the corn. Where is that boy who looks after the sheep? He's under a haystack, fast asleep. Will you wake him? Oh no, not I, For if I do, he'll surely cry.
