The Spaghetti Incident?" is the fifth studio album by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The album is composed of covers of older punk rock, hard rock, and other songs.

As the fifth Guns N’ Roses studio album, The Spaghetti Incident? is notable for comprising entirely of older punk and hard rock song covers, and would be their last release until Chinese Democracy 15 years later. This was the only album to feature rhythm guitarist Gilby Clarke following the departure of Izzy Stradlin, and the last recorded with guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum before their departures from the band in 1996 and 1997 respectively. The title references an event during the summer of 1989 when Axl Rose relocated the band to Chicago for the writing of Use.

This was the last Guns N' Roses album to feature lead guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum and the only album to feature Gilby Clarke. The title is an inside joke referring to a food fight between Axl Rose and Steven Adler involving spaghetti during Adler's resolution lawsuit with the band in 1993. Adler's attorney referred to it as "The Spaghetti Incident?" Mixed in (ou)R Sound™ Last song contains a hidden track

The Spaghetti Incident?, released in 1993, appeared almost as a release valve. This loose-limbed frolic through 13-or-so hard rock, punk and glam covers was the reminder that the big-budget band carving out nine-minute chunks of MTV was once stripped-down blues-metal dirtbags that made Los Angeles hair bands look like the spandex Monkees in 1986. Having one of the biggest rock bands in the world cover your song was actually more than just nice. Having your song on a Guns N’ Roses album is a considerable chunk of change, says Chrome. I moved down to Nashville, got resettled down there and was able to live and not work for a while. Definitely turned my life around a little bit.

As Guns N' Roses albums go, it's a complete delight, returning to the ferocious, hard-rocking days of Appetite for Destruction. The Gunners play Stooges and New York Dolls songs exactly as they do Nazareth - as straight-ahead, driving riff-rockers. After the epic Use Your Illusions, the band sounds like it's having fun, not caring about making "art" like "November Rain" or "Estranged.

I would have to say that none of the songs on this album were done or, I should say WRITTEN by G'N'R. They just performed them. They focused on oldies, 70's and mid-eighties that inspired them.

The Spaghetti Incident"" is an album of song covers by Guns N' Roses recorded from the early '90s line up. The songs consist of cover versions of punk and rock songs of the late seventies and early eighties. The album's title is most likely a reference to the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, in which the so-called "Noodle Incident" is mentioned in several strips, but never fully explained. The "Noodle Incident" is presumably one of Calvin's mischievous classroom antics, but the actual event is never shown or described
