More Oar: A Tribute to the Skip Spence Album is a 1999 tribute album completed shortly before and released shortly after the death of Moby Grape founding member Skip Spence.

There's a cat in my alleyway Dreaming of birds that are blue Sometimes girl when I'm lonely This is how I think about you There are times that I want you I want you so much I could bust I know a thing about lovers Lovers lie down in a trust. Love goes on anyway! I'm gonna make you happy I'm gonna spin you round I'm gonna cut your strings. I put my foot flat down on the floor I took it as far as I could I took it down there to Sheridan Street By the dark wood Late at night when I want you I lock you in my room I know a thing about darkness I know a thing about lovers I know a thing about lovers Lovers. Love goes on anyway! Love goes on anyway! More on Genius. Love Goes On" Track Info. Written By Grant McLennan & Robert Forster.

Grant McLennan: You used to have an old guitar in London which I wrote "Cattle and Cane" on. Nick Cave: So that's why I could never write anything on it. Grant McLennan: I ruined it for you. Did I steal its only tune? . A beautiful cover of Grant McLennan’s song, performed by Andy Chase’s band Brookville. From the 2009 album Broken Lights. This is the kind of pop music I like – immaculately produced, with all the little complimentary parts, mixed into a rapturous whole.
