Big Fun is a compilation album by American jazz musician Miles Davis. It was released by Columbia Records on April 19, 1974, and compiled recordings Davis had made in sessions between 1969 and 1972. Largely ignored in 1974, it was reissued on August 1, 2000, by Columbia and Legacy Records with additional material, which led to a critical reevaluation. Big Fun presents music from three different phases of Miles Davis's early-seventies "electric" period.
Man in Black is the 38th overall album by country singer Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in 1971. Many of the songs on the album contain political references, either broad or specific, while the title song refers both to Cash's tendency to wear black at live shows and to the tumultuous times in which the song was created, implying the Vietnam War. The album's name also eventually became Cash's informal nickname, given to him by the public.

Black Magic Woman," the Top Five hit from Abraxas, is definitive Santana: Afro-Latin grooves and piercing lyrical psychedelic blues guitar. It was a cover of a Fleetwood Mac song written by one of Carlos Santana's guitar heroes, Peter Green. It includes the world's merriest done-me-wrong song, "When You Were Mine," and the incest ditty "Sister. I wasn't being deliberately provocative," Prince said.
You don’t call your record White Men Are Black Men Too unless you’re looking to stir up some questions about classification, and with their new album, Young Fathers double down on the confusion they inspired with their earliest releases. Their label bio even leads with the statement that the group has "no ancestors," which is a funny thing to say about three men calling themselves Young Fathers because they all inherited their dads’ names. The sound of White Men Are Black Men Too is telling enough. It’s triumphant music for the hyperactive, plural city; it’s confrontational as a means to achieving communality, with no particular loyalties except to an anonymous, shifting collective of people who all want the same thing as Young Fathers-to be one thing, then the next, then the next.
Big black shape with eyes of fire Telling people their desire Satan’s sitting there, he’s smiling Watch those flames get higher and higher Oh no, no, please God help me! Child cries out for his mother Mother’s screaming in the fire Satan points at me again Opens the door to push me in Oh No! This is the end my friend Satan’s coming ’round the bend people running ’cause they’re scared You people better go and beware! . Red sun rising in the sky Sleeping village, cock’rel’s cry Soft breeze blowing in the trees Peace of mind, feel at ease. Band name: Black Sabbath Album title: Black Sabbath Song title: Black Sabbath The first heavy, dark and doomy heavy riff song. Released on Friday the 13th, February, 1970. Sure, there are many heavy rocking bands, albums and songs pre-dating this, but they’re not even close to this kind of heavyness and darkness with a name like this.
