Coping Mechanisms is the debut album by Irish music artist Si Schroeder. It was released in 2006 by Irish independent record label Trust Me I'm A Thief. In an interview with The Irish Times at the time of its release Si Schroeder explained that the title 'comes from observing how friends and colleagues of his deal with living in 21st-century Dublin. The nature of living in Dublin has definitely influenced the themes on this record.

Si Schroeder – Si Schroeder is the alias of Irish music artist Simon Kenny. He has released one album, Coping Mechanisms, and the singles Clocked, Jump Ship, C4. The single Clocked was released on 1 June 2012 and is the release from the forthcoming Si Schroeder LP Holding Patterns. Behavioral Mechanisms: That change what we do. Cognitive Mechanisms: That change what we think. Remember that coping actions are usually symptoms of deeper problems and addressing them directly can be ineffective or even counter-productive.
