Go Out and Get It" was a fine effort by the band with many good tunes. Pick it up today as it will not last long. When listening to this album in its remastered state, it validates how good Eddie and the Tide were as a band
Eddie and the Tide rocked the San Francisco Bay Area from 1983 to 1990. The band played all over the Bay Area - the Keystone Palo Alto, the Stone in SF, the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, Uncle Charlie's in Corte Madera, and many more places. They did not get their due and sadly broke up. Actually, they sort of drifted apart. Thanks for stopping by to check it out! Yes, we are older now but nothing will ever compare to the great sounds and shows of Eddie and the Tide!.
Looking for Adventure is the third studio studio album by Eddie and the Tide, released by Atco in 1987. It was the band's second and final album for a major label. The album received its first CD release in 2009 by Wounded Bird Records. Weak in the Presence of Beauty" and "Waiting for the One" were released as singles. The music video for "Weak in the Presence of Beauty" was directed by John Jopson and "Waiting for the One" directed by Rodney McDonald.

Their video for Running Wild.
Their 1985 major-label debut, Go Out & Get It, was fairly straightforward barroom rock with a hint of new wave mannerisms. The brooding, mid-tempo "One in a Million" became a hit at AOR radio in late summer and the song spent two weeks on the pop charts (peaking at number 85). Two years later, the track "Power Play" would appear on the gold-selling soundtrack to the smash movie Lost Boys.
