A Swingin' Christmas is a Christmas album by Tony Bennett, released in 2008, that features the Count Basie Big Band. Bennett's daughter Antonia duets with him on one track. The album received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 52nd Grammy Awards. To promote the release of the album Bennett granted numerous interviews, and made a number of television show performances, from the time of its release through the holiday season.

Swingin' (Kenny Burrell album). Swingin' is a 1980 studio album by American jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell. The album includes five tracks taken from three different studio sessions and a live recording between 1956-1959. Track 1 recorded at Manhattan Towers, NYC, on May 14, 1958. Track 2 recorded at Audio-Video Studios, NYC, on March 12, 1956. Tracks 3 4 5 recorded at the Five Spot Cafe, NYC, on August 25, 1959.

The disc went on to win the Rocktoria 1999 competition held in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and has been a popular favourite with locals ever since. Lineup: Casey Ryder: vocals, guitar, bass. Gregory Shea: vocals, keyboard & melodion. Clark Brendan: bass, vocals. Garth Johnson: drums, vocals. w/ special guests Bob Grant on trumpet and Paul Wainwright on saxophone.

This album was recorded in the Polydor Studio in Hamburg-Rahlstedt by sound engineer Peter Klemt in December 1961 and in March 1962. This production was first released in the United States the following August under the title THAT HAPPY FEELING and had climbed to Number 14 in the charts by September of that year. The LP was then released on the European market with the title A SWINGIN’ SAFARI in autumn of the same year. The two Kaempfert compositions A Swingin’ Safari and Afrikaan Beat soon became world hits and have since become evergreens.
