The Howlin' Wolf Album is a 1969 album by Howlin' Wolf, with members of Rotary Connection as his backing band. It mixed blues with psychedelic rock arrangements of several of Howlin' Wolf's classic songs. Howlin' Wolf strongly disliked the album, which is noted on the album's cover. The album peaked at number 69 on Billboard magazine's Black Albums chart. In 1967, Marshall Chess formed Cadet Concept Records as a subsidiary of Chess Records

Wolf-Alice' presents a new and liberated female physical standard, one which is very different from the delicate human martyr-beauties in all the other stories. Alice’s skin is calloused because of her enhanced speed which is ‘not our pace’, she ‘trots or gallops’ on ‘long, lean and muscular limbs’, her nose is long and sensitive – a ‘useful tool’ which makes her enviably competent. Alice’s wolf upbringing enables her to flout the rules of human femininity, in particular the standard fairy tale warning that young girls should not venture into the forest alone

The Gospel of John was written for people who couldn’t touch Jesus’ wounds or witness his miracles for themselves. 5. John focuses primarily on communicating that Jesus is Messiah, not his miracles. Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. 8. John’s gospel is more theology than history. From the very beginning, the Book of John focuses on the implications of who Jesus was and what he did more than the other gospels. Even when John uses historical narratives, it’s often for the purpose of revealing who Jesus is. John’s purpose statement and the emphasis on belief throughout the gospel makes it clear that this book is more interested in leading people to a life-changing faith in Christ.

The gospel of John uses different verbiage, and style of writing and was actually rejected by the orthodox Christians for a long time. Below you will find a comparison table that helps to better visualize the differences and similarities between the four gospels. This table is a great way to see the similarities between the three synoptic gospel authors, as well as see how they differ from each other and the apostle John. Learning about the authors can greatly help us understand how and why they wrote their gospels the way they did. The Gospel of John: The gospel of John was the only gospel written by a follower of Jesus. The other three writers were followers of Jesus's apostles, and likely never met Jesus for themselves.

As one of gospel’s most buzzed about new artists, Trinity delivered an impressive debut album, With All I Am, landing at no. 4 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums and just released the third radio single Simply Amazing. We have high expectations for this Oklahoma native. The champion of the seventh season of Sunday Best, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio is a big man with a bigger voice. With all the negative press around young black men, it’s refreshing to see this guy doing it the kingdom way. Under Kirk Franklin’s leadership, it’s no surprise that his album Kingdom Live is an intimate experience with God. Todd Dulaney. Adding classic soul flavor to gospel music, Todd Dulaney went from pro baseball player (NY Mets), to backup singer to solo artist.

But his short stories express a hard-won faith, and his essays on Christianity, nonviolent resistance, and justice profoundly influenced many including Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi. Born into Russian nobility, Tolstoy eventually renounced his wealth and sought to put his beliefs into practice. Perhaps one doesn’t associate Tolstoy with Biblical writing or Christian authors. Tolstoy though struggled with the Gospel message of Christ throughout his life, in deep and personally traumatic ways as he tried to reconcile his personal wealth and possessions with Christ’s call from the Sermon on the Mount.
