Black Sabbath – 1986 - Seventh Star Full Album. Black Sabbath (Glenn Hughes) – Seventh Star (1986 - Seventh Star). BLACK SABBATH ( SEVENTH STAR TOUR 86 ) RAY GILLEN ON VOICE – Sheffield 1986. Black Sabbath – In For The Kill. Black Sabbath Featuring Tony Iommi – Seventh Star. Black Sabbath (Glenn Hughes) – Heart Like A Wheel (1986 - Seventh Star).

Seventh Star is the twelfth studio album by Black Sabbath, released in January 1986. It was also the first Black Sabbath release not to feature bassist Geezer Butler, who left the band in 1984 after the Born Again tour, leaving guitarist Tony Iommi as the sole original member left in the band. It was originally written, recorded, and intended to be the first solo album by Iommi, but due to pressures by Warner Bros. Records and the prompting of band manager Don Arden, the record was billed as Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi. Glenn Hughes, ex-Deep Purple bassist and vocalist, was lead singer.

Seventh Star is the 12th studio album by English Heavy Metal band Black Sabbath. Released in January 1986, it features musicians Geoff Nicholls, Eric Singer, and Dave Spitz, playing keyboards, drums, and bass, respectively, and Glenn Hughes, ex-Deep Purple bassist and vocalist, as lead singer. The album was the group's first release without bassist Geezer Butler, who left the band in 1984 after the Born Again tour. Black Sabbath & Tony Iommi – Seventh Star. Black Sabbath – Seventh Star (Tony Iommi) 1987. Black Sabbath – 03 Turn to Stone (Seventh Star (1986)). Black Sabbath – Turn To Stone.

Iommi knew that it would be a mistake putting the Black Sabbath name on an album that sounded nothing like Sabbath, but he was forced to bite the bullet. and the album was pretty much doomed from the moment it hit record store racks. Long time Sabbath fans scoffed at the unfamiliar faces in the "new" lineup, and assumed that Tony was trying to squeeze the last bit of juice out of the Sabbath name for his own benefit.

Seventh Star was originally intended to be Tony Iommi's first solo album rather than another Black Sabbath album. But pressure from the record company forced Iommi to release this under the name of 'Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi'. Black Sabbath featuring only Tony Iommi' would perhaps have been more appropriate since he was the only remaining member (not counting the very loyal keyboard player Geoff Nicholls who appeared on all Black Sabbath albums throughout the whole 80's and the early 90's).

Seventh Star is a studio album marketed as being by English rock band Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi, the sole original member (while also being the bands 12th studio album). The album was the group’s first release without bassist Geezer Butler, who left the band in 1984 after the aforementioned Born Again tour
