A vacuum tube computer, now termed a first-generation computer, is a computer which uses vacuum tubes for logic circuitry. Although superseded by second generation, transistorized computers, vacuum tube computers continued to be built into the 1960s. These computers were mostly one-of-a-kind designs. The use of cross-coupled vacuum tube amplifiers to produce a train of pulses was described by Eccles and Jrodan in 1918.
Vacuum tubes mostly rely on thermionic emission of electrons from a hot filament or a cathode heated by the filament. This type is called a thermionic tube or thermionic valve. A phototube, however, achieves electron emission through the photoelectric effect. Not all electronic circuit valves/electron tubes are vacuum tubes (evacuated); gas-filled tubes are similar devices containing a gas, typically at low pressure, which exploit phenomena related to electric discharge in gases, usually without a heater . De Forest's original device was made with conventional vacuum technology. The vacuum was not a "hard vacuum" but rather left a very small amount of residual gas. The physics behind the device's operation was also not settled.
For an event like Terror there needs to be workers directing cars to the front, trucks to the back. No holding spaces (everyone should travel together, my sister and her boyfriend were directly behind us the whole time). There needs to be some organization or at least some direction to ensure that everyone is following the rules.

The Time Warp can double as a tube preamp when the effects are off (sans EQ or volume controls), although this also means that it is non true-bypass. Bottom line: The Time Warp certainly offers possibilities for sonic mischief, but I’d recommend it primarily for its cool delay sounds. Kudos Nice range of warm sounding delays. Concerns Warp feature isn’t for everybody. Uses a dedicated AC power supply with a plug that could allow it to be accidently connected to a 9VDC pedal. Contact crucialaudio.
