When Beck’s first album (read: first dgc album) came out, I remember getting it on cassette (which was a giant pain) along with Ugly Kid Joe’s America’s Least Wanted and six other less memorable albums in a BMG record club offer. I was never able to get into it, which I generally blame on being thirteen or fourteen. I’ve been quite busy the past month revisiting the nineties, seeing what I missed due to naive snobbery, and found a Beck/two of the Haden triplets (♥♥♥) collaboration.
