Live at the Fillmore East is a posthumous live album by Jimi Hendrix released on February 23, 1999. The album documents Hendrix's performances with the Band of Gypsys at the Fillmore East on December 31, 1969 and January 1, 1970. It is drawn from the same performances as, and can be seen as an extended complement to, the Band of Gypsys album, consisting mostly of songs not on the original album. All tracks written by Jimi Hendrix, except where noted. Jimi Hendrix – guitar, vocals.

About the album: Machine Gun: The Fillmore East First Show 12/31/69 documents the debut performance of Jimi Hendrix's short-lived but eternally influential, Band of Gypsys. The group played four historic concerts at the Fillmore East in New York City, two on New Year's Eve 1969, and two on New Year's Day 1970.

Blues is a posthumous compilation album by musician Jimi Hendrix, released April 26, 1994, on MCA Records. The album contains eleven blues songs recorded by Hendrix between 1966 and 1970. Out of these eleven, six were previously unreleased. The tracks include seven of Hendrix's compositions along with covers of famous blues songs such as "Born Under a Bad Sign" and "Mannish Boy". Most of the album's material consists of leftover studio tapes that Hendrix might have never intended to release.

There have been a large number of tributes to the great Jimi Hendrix, generally ranging from spotty to awful, but here's one that actually works. Power of Soul: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix is the first to appear under the auspices of Experience Hendrix, the Hendrix family's umbrella company for all things Jimi Hendrix, and despite a couple misfires and hints of nepotism, it's very well done. Reynolds is co-producer on the album, along with his wife, Janie Hendrix, and here's where the nepotism creeps in. Reynolds is the only individual involved in more than one track, and a couple of them are probably the weakest tracks on the album.

Jimi Hendrix was an American guitarist and singer-songwriter whose career spanned from 1962 to 1970. His discography includes the recordings released during his lifetime. Prior to his rise to fame, he recorded 24 singles as a backing guitarist with American R&B artists, such as the Isley Brothers and Little Richard. Beginning in late 1966, he recorded three best-selling studio albums and 13 singles with the Jimi Hendrix Experience

Jimi Hendrix - SOUL ‎(Cass, Album). So here's the story: In the early- to mid-'60s Jimi Hendrix was an itinerant session guitarist for, among many others, a Harlem-based R&B sax player named Lonnie Youngblood. This album and many others, starting with "Two Great Experiences Together" on Maple Records, were compiled from a series of Youngblood sessions that may or may not have included Jimi on guitar. My guess is that they comprise a combination of studio jams, demos, alternate mixes, and outtakes.
