1972 studio album by Lou Reed. When Reed asked what he meant by vicious, Warhol replied, "Oh, you know, like I hit you with a flower", resulting in the song "Vicious". The first single from the album, "Walk on the Wild Side", became an international success, despite its controversial subject matter.

It was issued by RCA Records after Reed's first contract with them ended in 1976. They were playing 'Walk On The Wild Side. The funny thing is that, while I knew the Velvet Underground's music, I'd never met Lou Reed. Lou Reed sings the song, but his delivery of the words makes it seem like he's simply talking to you, telling you colorful stories about all these different ransvestites.
