The Noël Coward Theatre, formerly known as the Albery Theatre, is a West End theatre on St. Martin's Lane in the City of Westminster, London. It opened on 12 March 1903 as the New Theatre and was built by Sir Charles Wyndham behind Wyndham's Theatre which was completed in 1899. The building was designed by architect W. G. R. Sprague with an exterior in the classical style and an interior in the Rococo style.

The playwright John Osborne said, "Mr Coward is his own invention and contribution to this century. Anyone who cannot see that should keep well away from the theatre. Tynan wrote in 1964, "Even the youngest of us will know, in fifty years' time, exactly what we mean by 'a very Noel Coward sort of person'. In praise of Coward's versatility, Lord Mountbatten said, in a tribute on Coward's seventieth birthday, "There are probably greater painters. The caricature was also used in connection with other Coward works, for example on his album of his ballet suite, "London Morning" (1959; reissued in 1978 on LP on DRG SL 5180 with the Hirschfeld drawing on the cover). "We are all here today to thank the Lord for the life of Noel Coward. Look Back in Pleasure: Noël Coward Reconsidered. ISBN 978-0-413-75500-1.

Book theatre tickets for The Night of the Iguana here. 1926 Margaret Kennedy and Basil Dean's play The Constant Nymph had a great success with both Noël Coward and subsequently John Gielgud taking the part of the composer Lewis Dodd. 1933 John Gielgud appeared at the theatre in the play that established him as a star, Richard of Bordeaux which ran for 472 performances. He continued to appear there for more than three years in a number of plays including Queen of Scots, Hamlet, Noah, Romeo and Juliet and The Seagull. 1941 The theatre became home to the Old Vic and Sadler's Wells companies when their own theatres were bomb damaged

Coward was a dazzling wit, and that element of his work is undiminished by the passage of decades.

NOEL COWARD sings songs from his new musical play - "OPERETTE" Dearest Love and Gipsy Melody The Stately Homes of England and Where are the songs we sung. Although foreigners, especially Americans, considered Coward to be the epitome of the (upper class) English gentleman, he was by his own admission born into "genteel poverty", and this song, which he recorded with the His Majesty's Theatre Orchestra conducted by Francis M. Collinson, might be seen as his taking a gentle swipe at Britain's landed gentry, and more particularly its ruling

Twentieth-Century Blues: The Songs of Noël Coward is a 1998 Noël Coward tribute album curated by Neil Tennant, who invited prominent artists of the day to reinterpret Noël. Profits from the albums sale were donated to the Red Hot AIDS Charitable Trust. The album yielded the double A-sided single Someday I’ll Find You, I’ve Been to a Marvellous Party which reached number 28 in the UK Singles Chart. A Twentieth-Century Blues DVD was also released.
