Pinocchio is the first studio album and third overall physical release by South Korean girl group f(x), released on April 20, 2011 by SM Entertainment in South Korea. Both versions of the album sold a total of almost 145,000 copies in South Korea.
Pinocchio" is a 1992-1993 electronic song recorded by Italian music group Pin-Occhio. This instrumental used the music created by Italian composer Fiorenzo Carpi and which was the main soundtrack of Luigi Comencini's miniseries The Adventures of Pinocchio. The song was notably covered by Pepeto at the same time as the original one and peaked at in France. A massive hit was recorded in 2005 by Pinocchio, an animated character, under the title "T'es pas cap Pinocchio".

Pinocchio was carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a Tuscan village. He was created as a wooden puppet but he dreams of becoming a real boy. He is notably characterized for his frequent tendency to lie, which causes his nose to grow.
