Naturally is the debut album by J. J. Cale released in 1972. Cale, who was raised in Oklahoma, first tasted success in 1964 when singer Mel McDaniel scored a regional hit with Cale’s composition Lazy Me. From there Cale moved to California and worked at Leon Russell’s home studio as a chief engineer and began performing at places like the Whiskey A Go Go. Jessie Hill (December 9, 1932 – September 17, 1996) was an American R&B and Louisiana blues singer and songwriter, best remembered for the classic song "Ooh Poo Pah Doo". Hill was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. By his teens he was playing drums in local bands, and in 1951 he formed his own group, the House Rockers.
