Just For Love (Pt. 1). Исполнитель. Quicksilver Messenger Service. UMG (от лица компании "EMI"); BMI - Broadcast Music Inc.

Just for Love is the fourth album by American psychedelic rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service. Released in August 1970, it marks the culmination of a transition from the extended, blues- and jazz-inspired improvisations of their first two albums to a more traditional rock sound. Founding member Dino Valenti, who returned to the band after a stint in prison on drug charges, was largely responsible for the new sound.

The band achieved wide popularity in the San Francisco Bay Area and through their recordings, with psychedelic rock enthusiasts around the globe, and several of their albums ranked in the Top 30 of the Billboard Pop charts.

And it meant the band's days were numbered.

Features Song Lyrics for Quicksilver Messenger Service's Just For Love album. Quicksilver Messenger Service - Just For Love Album Lyrics. Just For Love Part 1 Lyrics. Just For Love Part 2 Lyrics.

With the return of Gary Duncan and the recording debut of founder Dino Valenti, Just for Love, Quicksilver's fourth album, marked their debut as the band they were intended to be. The ironic thing about that is that, led by singer/songwriter Valenti, they were a much more pop-oriented band than their fans had come to expect
