Live! at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany; 1962 is a double album featuring live performances by the English rock band the Beatles, recorded in late December 1962 at the Star-Club during their final Hamburg residency. The album was released in 1977 in two different versions, comprising a total of 30 songs by the Beatles. The performances were recorded on a home tape machine using a single microphone, resulting in a low fidelity recording.
1962 Live at the Star Club in Hamburg. CD - Walters Records 80012). Lo-fi, atmospheric live recording of the pre-Ringo Beatles hurtling through their trademark Hamburg Star Club set list. Lacking in musical polish, but shot through with energy and youthful enthusiasm.
Those "Star Club" CDs are just great - this CD seems to be a core version I think. Better than Lingasong LPs or any other CDs I've listened to about the Hamburg period. I think it's the best version of the Star Club tapes - It also contains some unreleased songs like "Red Hot". A great double disc set with the best possible sound. I have many Star Club CDs (including Lingasong, BATZ etc) but these discs are the best I know. On 20 Dec 2006 at 14:32 CEST.

Bootleg is a double live album by American hard rock band Aerosmith, released in 1978. While most of the performances were drawn from concerts in 1977 and 1978, the covers "I Ain't Got You" and "Mother Popcorn" were taken from a radio broadcast of a Boston performance on March 20, 1973. The album also features a secret live instrumental cover of "Strangers in the Night" following their cover of "Train Kept A-Rollin'". The back of the album cover includes two coffee stains over the picture of Joe Perry playing before a live audience. My hate was born in the club that's why I'm leaving. This place is more than a lie, you should believe me. I am not happy here.
Beatles Live at the Star-Club in Hamburg 1962 2 album set German Bellaphon 5560. A final note: This album was relased in the . 5 days before the live album authorized by The Beatles called "The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl". It seems that EMI and The Beatles were trying to "kill" the release of the "Star Club" recordings releasing their authorized recording at almost the same time. Of course, the "Hollywood Bowl" sold very well in comparison to the "Star Club" album, even being at the top of the charts. This is basically the same thing as Last Night in Hamburg, except it has less songs.
Live! At The Star-Club was first released in Germany in April 1977, and in the United Kingdom the following month. The album was issued in the US in June 1977, by Lingasong in association with Atlantic Records. Four songs – I Saw Her Standing There, Twist And Shout, Reminiscing and Ask Me Why – were replaced by four others from the same tapes: I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry (Over You), Where Have You Been, Till There Was You and Sheila. The recordings were licensed to a number of other record labels over the next two decades, and reissued in a range of albums
