Released in 1982, the album has dubs of songs originally voiced by singers from the stable of artists on Lloyd Bullwackie Barnes’ Wackies label: Max Romeo, Barrington Spence, and Horace Andy. The dub mixes were formulated by Barnes and his right-hand man, Junior Delahaye, who also contributed keyboards, drums, and drum machine programming as a member of the label’s in-house band, The Wackies Rhythm Force. Though the dubs bear some resemblance to the legendarily slippery sound that Lee Perry created at his Black Ark, it's fair to say that this music carries a lonelier aura
