Album is the debut album by American band Girls. It was released September 22, 2009 on True Panther Sounds. Initial critical response to Album was extremely positive. Tom Breihan of Pitchfork writes, "Album is mostly sunny Beach Boys pastiche, but it's not the kajillionth indie attempt at orchestral Pet Sounds majesty.
Girls, Girls, Girls is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on May 15, 1987. The album contains a more blues-riffed style than their previous albums. The record contains the hits "Wild Side" and "Girls, Girls, Girls. The record also reflects the band's hard-living lifestyle, and pays homage to their love of riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, drinking whiskey, drug use, life on the Sunset Strip, and spending nights at strip clubs.
I really like girls an awful lot, Mick Jagger confided to Rolling Stone in 1978. And I don’t think I’d say anything really nasty about any of them. And yet the eternal kick of Some Girls is that Mick has a deliciously nasty word or two for everybody. Some of the bonus tracks are nearly as hot as the originals; certainly they live up to the Some Girls spirit, from the cheeky piano lament Petrol Blues to Keith Richards‘ tender Nashville cover We Had It All.
Girls, Girls, Girls Lyrics. Friday night and I need a fight My motorcycle and a switchblade knife Handful of grease in my hair feels right But what I need to make me tight are those. Girls, girls, girls Long legs and burgundy lips Girls, girls, girls Dancing down on Sunset Strip Girls, girls, girls Red lips, fingertips. Trick or treat, sweet to eat On Halloween and New Years Eve Yankee girls, you just can't be beat But they're the best when they're off their feet
Girls have been the subject of a steadily building buzz based on some excellent singles, and they deliver on that promise here in a big wa. Musically, Album is mostly sunny Beach Boys pastiche, but it's not the kajillionth indie attempt at orchestral Pet Sounds majesty. Rather, it's simple and forthright early Beach Boys stuff: compact guitar-jangles, sha-la-la harmonies, muffled heartbeat drums. And even though it has a basic core sound, Album manages to cover a lot of aesthetic ground in its 44 minutes.
