Bumpin' is an album by American jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery that was released in 1965. It reached number 116 on the Billboard 200 chart. It was Montgomery's first album to reach the charts.
John Leslie "Wes" Montgomery (March 6, 1923 – June 15, 1968) was an American jazz guitarist. Towards the end of his Bop period, and for his ninth studio album, legendary jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery reunited with another musician, originally from Indianapolis, the master of the Hammond B-3, Melvin Rhyne.
