Four Year Strong is an American pop punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalists and guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco. They have released five studio albums; their recent self-titled album was released on June 2, 2015, through Pure Noise Records. Four Year Strong was formed in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 2001 by current members Dan O'Connor, Alan Day, Jake Massucco, and Joe Weiss

Four Year Strong turned heads in September 2007 with the release of their debut album, Rise Or Die Trying. With over 40,000 CD's sold to date, the Worcester, MA quintet have made themselves known as one of Alternative Press' 'Most Anticipated of '09', not to mention Rolling Stone's '40 Bands You Need To Know'.

Four Year Strong’s rendition of So Much For The Afterglow does literally nothing for it. It’s not inventive, new or fresh. It sounds almost identical to Everclear’s version. Alright so Absolutely (Story Of A Girl) wasn’t even released in the 90’s.

On July 21, 2009, Four Year Strong released covers album, titled Explains It All. Rise or Die Trying Explains It All DCD2 Records In Some Way, Shape, or Form Pure Noise Records. It features a guest appearance from Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die, among others. He is also featured with Corey Letson on Four Year Strong's 90s cover album Explains It All covering the song "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by The Smashing Pumpkins. The Damned Things Four Year Strong Explains It All Fall Out Boy Ironiclast.

It is the follow-up to Rise or Die Trying which was released in 2007.
