Miles Davis - Live Miles: More Music From The Legendary Carnegie Hall Concert download mp3 album
Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall is a live album by American jazz musician Miles Davis. Subtitled The Legendary Performances of May 19, 1961, it was released by Columbia Records as CL 1812 in monaural and CS 8612 as "electronically re-channeled for stereo. This live performance features Davis with his regular quintet and also accompanied by Gil Evans and his 21-piece orchestra.
Live-Evil is an album of both live and studio recordings by American jazz musician Miles Davis. They were performed as lengthy, dense jams in the jazz-rock style, while the studio recordings were renditions of Hermeto Pascoal compositions. The album was originally released on November 17, 1971.
In 1998, Columbia/Legacy reissued Miles Davis at Carnegie Hall as a double-disc set that contained all of the music performed at the concert from May 19, 1961. Davis is captured with his transitional small combo featuring Hank Mobley, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb, as well as with the Gil Evans Orchestra. It was one of only two concerts Davis and Evans performed together, and that alone makes the album necessary for collectors, but the music itself is terrific.

Dark Magus: Live At Carnegie Hall. And Miles Davis was no different in that respect. Miles jams his ASS off on this recording, so much so, that I could spin the first two tracks, "Moja (parts 1 & 2)" for hours and not get bored! Recorded at Carnegie Hall in NYC, on March 30, 1974, not too long before Davis went into seclusion and temporarily retired for 5-6 years, "Dark Magus" has THE heaviest, darkest & funkiest fusion jams you'll probably ever hear is probably one of THE 10 best live albums I've ever heard. In particular, I think Pete Cosey's guitar playing is less wanky, more restrained on this album than it is on the other two. The result is a tighter all around sound.
