George Maharis has a very passable voice. Besides being the coolest guy to crack philosophy from a Corvette on "Route 66, now back on the airways, he has a voice that is smooth and enjoyable to hear. I remember the first time I heard "Teach Me Tonight" on the radio, I was so surprised at this talent I had not know he had. Besides that song, The CD actually is a collection of two original LPs, "George Maharis Sings" and "Portrait in Music", a nice variety of songs. You get George Maharis singing his first two albums on one CD ! Both from 1962 when he was on Route 66. His smooth style made him quite popular with easy listening fans.
