Put it this way: Jones' "Little Drummer Boy" plays a breakbeat. It's a Holiday Soul Party Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. Listen on Apple Music. On Holiday Soul Party, Sharon Jones hosts one of the season’s most inclusive celebrations: The record opens with a day-by-day Hanukkah breakdown, and later, "World of Love" prays for interfaith unity. But the real common denominator is The Dap-Kings' mastery of snow-melting retro-funk grooves.

The Soul Album is the fourth studio album by American soul singer-songwriter Otis Redding, released in 1966. Otis Redding - vocals. Booker T. Jones, Isaac Hayes - keyboards, piano. Steve Cropper - guitar. Donald Dunn - bass guitar. Al Jackson Jr. - drums. Wayne Jackson, Sammy Coleman, Gene "Bowlegs" Miller - trumpet. Charles "Packy" Axton, Andrew Love - tenor saxophone. Floyd Newman - baritone saxophone.

The most convincing production is Make It Right, surprisingly co-written by Ed Sheeran, which loops a lone horn line to great effect; it could have come out in the mid-2000s next to Amerie’s 1 Thing or Mario’s Let Me Love You. Mostly Map of the Soul: Persona serves as a reminder of BTS’ impregnability.

But it’s hard to beat the warm, soothing version that Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong recorded for their 1957 Porgy & Bess album. Curled in the warm voices of these peerless vocalists, you’re transported to a gentler place, with the Daddy and Mammy of jazz standing b. Adam Feldman. 4. "Summer Breeze by Seals and Crofts (1972). Nothing says summer like a little harmony-driven folk-pop, and this 1972 AM Gold staple epitomizes that mini movement about as well as any track we could name.

It's Dark and Hell Is Hot is the debut studio album by American rapper DMX. It was released on May 19, 1998 by Ruff Ryders Entertainment, Def Jam Recordings, and PolyGram.
