They met in remedial learning classes at Corona del Mar High School. They released their first LP "Party" in 2008. Their sound has been described as seizure sex music. The dudes in this band enjoy drums, slurpees, Ravel, and watching other people fight.

Dizzy Spells is an album by Dutch anarchist band The Ex. It is the band's 11th studio album (18th overall) and was produced by Steve Albini (who had also produced its predecessor). List Rules Vote and rerank based on how much great music they would have produced had they lived a longer life. People only - not bands.

Dizzy Spells (album). Wolk praised the album for its grimness and density whilst Owen called the album "truly exciting music, which is especially commendable when you consider they've been at it for so long.
