Heresy is the culmination of work carried out from 1987 to 1989 and utilises subterranean location recordings originated within crypts, caverns, mines, deep shelters and catacombs together with material of a seismic and volcanic origin. It also takes advantage of psycho-acoustic phenomena and the physical effects of low frequency information. Lustmord's praise of defining Dark Ambient is well-deserved and the album Heresy is evident of it. Highly recommended, 5 out of 5. 답글 나에게 알림 3 Helpful.

Heresy, however, comes from the Greek hairesis, which means choice. Originally it was not used in a derogatory sense, but as a technical term for a philosophical school or the doctrines of a religion. In current usage heresy is a belief or opinion contrary to what is generally accepted, especially in religion, and more particularly in opposition to the orthodoxy. The question for us today is: which choice holds the right opinion?

The album is a compilation of actual recordings from 1985-1989 carried out on site, and then fed through a computer to have sound levels tinkered with and recordings mastered to have the fullest impact, making the listener feel as if they too are sitting next to Williams in whatever desolate and morbid place he chooses as inspiration for his music.

Heresy" is a song written by and performed by Rush and appears on their 1991 album Roll the Bones. The song is about the fall of communism in Eastern Europe and Russia, resultant about-face consumerism and the passing of the Cold War nuclear threat. Like the rest of the album Roll the Bones, "Heresy" also marks the transition from the band's 1980s style to their sound of the 1990s where guitars are a prominent part of this song and keyboard and organ are played in the background.
