Discovering Computer Magic's (Danielle Danz Johnson) 2015 album Davos was one of the happiest musical accidents I've experienced in quite some time. Her blend of spacey pop with sci-fi themes instantly hooked me and now we're finally treated to her official follow-up, the somewhat self-titled Danz. Amnesia" opens the record with beeping synth loops and atmospheric vocals. The funky synth-bass of "Nebraskaland" gives away to a breezy chorus and recalls a bit of her past work, with layered vocals and a subtle sense of urgency.
