All tracks written by Savage Republic, except "Surfin' With the Shah" by John Talley-Jones. Adapted from the Recordings From Live Performance, 1981 - 1983 liner notes.

The covers to the colored vinyl copies had typesetting and Savage Republic logo printed in metallic gold ink, while the black vinyl copies had the typesetting and logo printed in black ink. Packaged in a plastic protective sleeve with stickered release info. A1, C2 & D2: Recorded at Anticlub, Los Angeles, New Year's Eve, 1982-1983. A2, B1 & D4: Recorded at Madison Square Garden, Phoenix, 17th October 1981

The group split up towards the end of 1983 with a second album partially completed; Loveless and Drucker completed it and it was released as an album (Jedda by the Sea) by their side project 17 Pygmies. Tragic Figures was issued in Europe in 1984 on the Sordide Sentimental label. Savage Republic reformed in 2002 with original member Licher and members from the mid-1980s including Greg Grunke, Thom Fuhrmann and Ethan Port, although Licher left after a first tour Musical style.

My copy is on clear vinyl, not gold as stated in the format description.

I just bought a low number copy today and it's on clear gold vinyl. One of the discs is almost completely clear. I'm certain it's not a bootleg as I bought it from Bruce Licher at his gallery.
