Baby's Got a Temper" is a song by English electronica group The Prodigy, released as a non-album single in July 2002 by record labels XL and Maverick. It was the band's first single in five years after 1997's "Smack My Bitch Up", and was also their first release after dancer Leeroy Thornhill left the band in 2000. The single, as well as the accompanying music video, was controversial, and was met with a negative response from critics
Music video for The Prodigy's controversial single, Baby's Got A Temper, received its TV premiere on June 5th 2002 at 9pm on MTV2 (UK). Then then played it from midnight to 6am nonstop, only that track. The video, (based on a Liam's dream) which features the band playing live on stage, in front of an audience of cows. The Prodigy filmed this new video in June 2002 at Poldi Kladno near Prague (Czech Republic).
Baby’s Got a Temper was released in 2002, initially intended to support their album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. However, the single was poorly received, and Liam Howlett himself said he disliked it. This helps to explain why the album would be released only two years later, after being reworked, and without this track. Consequently, Baby’s Got a Temper became kind of a black sheep in the band’s catalogue, and it would be one of their few singles until then not to be included on their 2005 compilation Their Law – The Singles 1990-2005.
