Strange Brew" is a song by the British rock band Cream. First released as a single in June 1967 in the UK and US, it was later added to their second studio album Disraeli Gears. The song features Eric Clapton on lead vocals rather than the usual lead by Jack Bruce. The single peaked at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart in July of that same year. In the UK, it was the last Cream single to be released by Reaction Records.

Strange Brew als (Playback-)Auftritt der Supergroup Cream mit Eric Clapton (g), Jack Bruce (b) und Ginger Baker (d) am 2. 5. Best known as one of the first "supergroups" in rock history, the Cream combined the talent of three outstanding musicians of the 60s: Blues rock guitarist Eric Clapton, bass player Jack Bruce and jazz-influenced drummer Ginger Baker. Together they fused blues, rock and psychedelic and put the idea of jamming music with 20-minute-jams into a higher level.

Produced by Felix Pappalardi. Album Disraeli Gears. Strange brew Kill what's inside of you. She's a witch of trouble in electric blue In her own mad mind she's in love with you With you Now, what you gonna do? Strange brew Kill what's inside of you. She's some kind of demon messin' in the glue If you don't watch out it'll stick to you To you What kind of fool are you? Strange brew Kill what's inside of you.

Strange Brew: The Very Best of Cream. Strange Brew: The Very Best of Cream is a 1983 compilation album by the British rock band Cream.

Cream would complete the Disraeli Gears album when they returned to the United States the next month. The lyrics refer to a female, which could mean drugs or be a more literal reference to a woman. Either way, she is "killing what's inside of yo. Cream had a very psychedelic sound, and this song was released in the Summer of Love, where it fit in quite well.
